LIVIO POIER

Livio Poier is born in Tempio Pausania (Sardinia, Italy), 14th May 1980.
He picked up the guitar at age 12.
His passion came from his brother who owned a Suzuki electric guitar.
Since that moment Livio played it night and day, inspired by his heroes such as Yngwie Malmsteen, Robert Fripp and Alan Holdsworth. At age 14 he discovered music with a heavier sound, bands like Metallica, Iron Maiden and Sepultura.
LIVIO FOTO BIOGRAFIA Together with his friends, he started playing in a band called Invaders, recording demos and on local concerts.
Not after a long time he started to listen to Progressive Rock and Jazz / Fusion, but he also explored genres like Death Metal and Classical Music, so they became very important influences and a strong inspiration.
Livio has been always a loyal member of his mother band Memento Waltz, trying to bring his own personal, heavy and twisted ideas, without concerning a
bout the genre he was going to play, only following his spirit.

“…I believe with our last album “Division by Zero” we made a good step forward. We are always looking for new sounds and melodies, always trying to create something different but also aiming to keep our trademark. I can surely said that any new album we will release will be different from the previous one.”
